Thank you for watching our video. We do know that visiting anywhere will have costs, we travel quite often. The smell of the horse droppings took us by surprise as the weekend we visited the island there was no one there to pick up after the horses and we went while it was super hot outside so it was extra fragrant, it's not the end of the world. This video is just us sharing our experience at the island, as all of the other videos we've seen just say that Mackinac Island is magical, so this is why we wanted to see it and experience it for ourselves. We felt that we should share all of the experiences we had and not hold back or lie. For us, Disney is different, we know it's horribly overpriced, but we own a house near Disney World so we pay for our annual pass monthly and not all at once, we visit when we want and get free parking as part of our pass, plus other discounts. So for us, Disney is really cheap, we know that wont be the case for others. Being from Alaska, most of our family and friends back home haven't traveled much, so we wanted to share what we experienced. We did buy some fudge from one of the many local shops, it was delicious. We have a dog, if you've seen us on our other social media platforms, you'll see her, she is a 8 year old rottweiler. She wouldn't fair going up on the hills of the island, so she was in the RV close by, so we didn't stay the night, she had two ACL surgeries when she was 1 & 1 1/2, so this would be hard for her to walk all day. We have other RV friends from Michigan who have seen our video and have offered to take us on a proper tour but in a different time of year, so we'll be back, when our schedule permits it. @@VenturesomeCouple Most dogs can't handle being around the horses (unless they are already used to horses).

@@Cleo_and_Mark Very true, our neighbor in Alaska had three horses, so our Cali girl (doggy) is used to them and used to watch them from our backyard.

That is a great question, we did not test that. It may be similar but would leave the bathroom without any air. Not necessarily a bad thing though. I wish we would have tested that.

We agree, we have been impressed that the AC has kept up with mid 90’s temperatures. We did put reflectix in every window and that has been a huge help.

It is the same unit for the Coleman Mach with the regular plenum. It will only work in your front bedroom AC

Thank you for watching our video, we aren’t sure about that. Alliance did say they couldn’t add an awning that long, but we do think two awnings to cover both doors and the pull out grill would have been better, hopefully in the future ones it will be that way.

Thank you for watching our video, we bought size 4T Crocs for the bottom of the stairs at the Crocs outlet store in Wisconsin. When we get a new pair of Crocs, we’ll get size 5T next time, these ones fit, but barely. They work great for stability in all elements (gravel, sand, dirt, etc)

Exactly. More airflow equals higher temp since BTUs are the same.

We did not test the temp before and after. In theory the temp should go down as the amount of return air has been Increased by the design of the insert. It has kept our trailer cool 72-84 degrees in mid 90’s temperatures. We do have reflectix on the windows which helps a lot.

I wish we had a 15k BTU AC. The more power the better with two AC’s

Thank you for watching our video, this company should work with the air conditioner companies and make this an all in one before it gets to the RV manufacturer! We did hear that Alliance is going to install these on their new Paradigms, that is going to be amazing. Some other smaller RV manufacturers have started installing them before hand.

I would recommend going onto a tow calculator website and entering the numbers from the trailer (everything should’ve be in the video) and the truck tow numbers. There are a lot of variables to consider when you decide on a tow vehicle.

Thank you for watching our short video, we store our generators in the bed of our truck and lock them in and we have a cover over it to help shield it from outside weather elements. We got the generators at Costco one at a time when they were on sale, and we bought the parallel kit so we could get 50amp out of it, works great. You don't need solar with these two generators, we already had the generators before we got solar, but it will help top off our batteries on those not so sunny days or when we use them up for air conditioners, etc.

Chris has taken the solar class before, so when we got solar for our new travel trailer we were able to come in, but Chris worked with the class and instructors on our solar build, they did an amazing job. We would recommend that you take the class and help build your solar system because then you know your system inside and out, so if something happens on the road, you aren't stuck waiting on a tech and you can manage it yourself. Chris learned so much when he went to the solar class almost two years ago, it help him to have that knowledge with our solar build. Let the NRVTA know that we sent you (we don't get paid on that) but they are like family to us.

We did make do with two pantry shelves gone, we have a solution for the heat in the pantry that is pretty awesome but that will be in another video as we only showed what the class build was. We are very honest & in this video we have an expert documenting the results of the RV airflow & airdirect vents. We don’t go down the drama route either, which we choose not to do. Thank you again for watching our video & honestly we do love the rv airflow systems, having two air conditioners can be a struggle since we just sold our 5th wheel that had three air conditioners and was only four feet longer has been an adjustment. We've been working on other solar stuff and our tweaks that wasn't a part of the solar class that we'll share in a future video. Thank you for watching our video, it depends on how you would use the solar system & what the previous owners had already installed, it may not fit your needs. On the other hand, it could be cheaper, but it depends on how you would need the solar set up, such as overnight dry camping or boondocking for weeks, etc… the quality of the solar system on a used RV, or lack there of. How was the knowledge of the previous RV owner (did they install their own solar system & no training or research OR a professional installation). This is a tough question to answer for someone else as we don’t know your camping style, but hope this helps guide you to what you are looking for in a solar system.
